This bronze sculpture was conceived by Alicia Penalba in 1957 and cast in an edition of 6 by Susse Fondeur, Paris.

The mysterious title "Inhabited Shadow" of this work gives the possibility to interpret it in many ways. The delicate balance with weight at the top makes the composition very powerful.
